Leren over groente & gratis proeflunch
Beste ouder(s)/verzorger(s),
Naast lezen en rekenen, willen we kinderen ook leren over gezonde voeding. Daarom gaan we klassikaal aan de slag met het thema groente. We kijken een video die uitlegt wat groenten voor je lichaam doen, geven een doe-boek mee en gaan groente eten bij de lunch. We werken hiervoor samen met TommyTomato.
3 september 2024: gratis proeflunch vol groente
TommyTomato bezorgt een warme, vegetarische proeflunch in de klas. De lunch bestaat uit pasta met een lekkere saus die 100% van de dagelijks aanbevolen hoeveelheid groente bevat. Kinderen geven dit gerecht een 9!
De proeflunch is helemaal gratis en u bepaalt zelf of uw kind meedoet. Wilt u uw kind aanmelden?

en voor locatie Waterrijk via https://www.tommytomato.nl/school/t-slingertouw-loc-waterrijk-eindhoven/. De deadline is 29 augustus. U hoeft dan geen lunch mee te geven op de dag van de proeflunch.
Omdat er bakjes extra geleverd worden, kunnen ook kinderen die niet zijn aangemeld toch een hapje meeproeven. Let op: dit is geen volledige lunch. Geef uw kind dus wel eten mee.
Na de proeflunch
Vond uw kind de proeflunch lekker, schrijf uw kind dan in voor de groentelunch van TommyTomato. Dit kost € 3,35 per lunch voor de onderbouw en € 3,89 voor de bovenbouw. Te duur? Geef dit bij de inschrijving aan en TommyTomato sponsors betalen mee. https://www.tommytomato.nl/vooriedereen/
Heeft uw kind een allergie?
Helaas kan TommyTomato op dit moment nog geen rekening houden met gluten of lactose intoleranties. Zij werken hard om dit binnenkort mogelijk te maken, zodat alle kinderen groente-eters voor het leven worden!

Learning about Vegetables & Free Sample Lunch
Dear Parent(s),
In addition to reading and mathematics, we want to teach children about healthy eating. That's why we will be working together as a class on the theme of vegetables. We'll watch a video that explains what vegetables do for your body, provide a workbook, and enjoy vegetables during lunch. We are partnering with TommyTomato for this initiative.
September 3, 2024: Free Trial Lunch Full of Vegetables
TommyTomato will deliver a warm, vegetarian sample lunch to the classroom. The lunch consists of
pasta with a delicious sauce that contains 100% of the daily recommended amount of vegetables. Kids rate this dish a 9!
The sample lunch is completely free, and you can decide whether your child participates. Would you like to sign up your child?

Since extra portions will be delivered, children who are not signed up can still have a taste. Please note: this is not a full lunch. Therefore, please provide your child with additional food.
After the Trial Lunch
If your child enjoyed the sample lunch, you can sign them up for TommyTomato's vegetable lunch. This costs €3.35 per lunch for lower grades and €3.89 for upper grades. Is it too expensive? Indicate this when registering, and TommyTomato sponsors will contribute.

Does your child have an allergy?
Unfortunately, TommyTomato is currently unable to accommodate gluten or lactose intolerances. They are working hard to make this possible soon, so that all children can become lifelong vegetable eaters!
