Op 3 sep. 2024 kregen de kinderen een proeflunch van TommyTomato. We vonden het leuk om te zien hoe de kinderen reageerden. Heeft uw kind ervan genoten of was het nog even wennen? 
 

Op 17 sep. 2024 starten we met de wekelijkse levering. Inschrijven kan tot 10 sep. 2024 via:

Groente leren eten als vak op school 

Net zoals lezen of rekenen, gaat ook groente eten niet voor elk kind vanzelf. Het is een vaardigheid die je moet ontwikkelen. Voor sommigen betekent dat even oefenen. Daarom blijven we de komende acht weken klassikaal groente proeven, in samenwerking met TommyTomato.

 

  • Kinderen die dat willen, kunnen zich via deze link inschrijven voor een wekelijkse lunch van TommyTomato op een vaste dag. Ouders betalen hiervoor een bijdrage van € 3,35 of € 3,89  per lunch. (De bovenbouw krijgt een grotere portie.) Is dit financieel niet haalbaar? Dan springt TommyTomato Sponsoring bij. 

 

  • Kinderen die niet zijn ingeschreven, eten de lunch die ze van thuis meekrijgen. Om te zorgen dat zij toch kunnen mee proeven, levert TommyTomato twee extra bakjes.

Wilt u uw kind wel opgeven, maar kunt u geen € 3,25 of €3,75 per lunch missen? Geef uw kind dan op voor TommyTomato Sponsoring. U bepaalt dan zelf wat u kunt missen voor de lunch en de sponsors vullen de rest aan. Samen proeven, ieder kind zijn eigen tempo
Hoe het klassikaal proeven eruitziet? Op de dag dat TommyTomato komt, gaan we klassikaal proeven. Kijken, ruiken, voelen en proberen. Elk kind kiest zijn of haar eigen tempo, dus als het bij kijken blijft, is dat helemaal prima. En uitspugen mag! Maar wie weet is het daar wel veel te lekker voor…

Learning to Eat Vegetables as a School Subject
Just like reading or math, eating vegetables doesn't come naturally to every child. It's a skill that needs to be developed, and for some, that means practicing a bit. That's why, over the next eight weeks, we'll continue to taste vegetables in class, in collaboration with TommyTomato.
  • Children who wish to participate can sign up for a weekly TommyTomato lunch on a fixed day via this link. Parents contribute €3.35 or €3.89 per lunch. (Older students receive a larger portion.) Is this financially challenging? Then TommyTomato Sponsorship will step in.
  • Children who are not registered will eat the lunch they bring from home. To ensure they can still participate in the tasting, TommyTomato will provide two extra containers.

Would you like to sign up your child but can't afford the €3.25 or €3.75 per lunch? Register your child for TommyTomato Sponsorship. Tasting Together, at Each Child's Own Pace
How does class tasting work? On the day TommyTomato visits, we’ll taste vegetables together in class—looking, smelling, touching, and trying. Each child can go at their own pace, so if they just want to look, that's perfectly fine. And spitting it out is allowed! But who knows, it might be too tasty for that...
